From a very young age, I have been fascinated by violin making. When I arrived in France at 18, I discovered a completely different world: I learned to recognize makers, to understand how history and the market influence an instrument’s value, and to compare quality and price. In Spain, unfortunately, the commercial practices I knew often offered instruments that were excessively expensive for their true quality, and many colleagues ended up with pieces of doubtful origin that they later could not resell. That reality sparked in me the desire to learn more and to search for violins with character and solid craftsmanship. My own violin, with which I won important positions and developed my artistic career, is proof that it is possible to find a high-quality instrument without spending an exorbitant amount. Today, that same philosophy guides my selection.
Unlike a traditional violin shop or workshop, where dealers often receive instruments on consignment and prioritize the maker’s name over true sound value, I personally select and purchase, with a violinist’s judgment, only those violins that genuinely convince me. Every instrument I offer for sale is a personal commitment: I have played it, chosen it, and recommend it as I would my own.
