Recognized as one of the great master luthiers of the 21st century, Vladimir Pilar has made his mark in both Europe and Asia, where his work stands out in a market traditionally dominated almost exclusively by Italian violins. Alongside his compatriot P.O. Špidlen, Pilar has broken cultural and commercial barriers, establishing himself as a cult figure among collectors and elite musicians.
